Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have criticised two photographers who were reportedly seen watching the school attended by their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
According to the report, private security guards and school staff spotted the men walking around the edge of the school grounds. Authorities later identified them as photographers working for a European press agency.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex called their behaviour reckless and said it was a serious invasion of children’s privacy.
The spokesperson said there was a clear difference between normal news reporting and walking around a school, looking into its grounds and watching children during their day.
They also said the timing raised further concerns, as it came soon after an incident at RAF Fairford.
The spokesperson added that, whatever pictures the photographers hoped to take, their actions were unacceptable and irresponsible.
