King Charles has reportedly asked his sister, Princess Anne, and his sister-in-law, Duchess Sophie, to help improve the relationship between his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
According to Radar Online, unnamed sources say the King hopes his sons will come together before he dies. The report says their strained relationship has become a growing concern as he faces cancer.
The sources say Charles wants William and Harry to appear in public together while he is still alive, even if they cannot settle all their private disagreements.
One source claimed the King finds the situation heartbreaking. He reportedly believes the split is hurting both the family and the public’s view of the monarchy.
The report also suggests that a service to remember Princess Diana could help bring the brothers together. August 2027 will mark 30 years since her death. According to the report, Charles has not opposed the idea of a service in her memory.
Unnamed sources also say Catherine, Princess of Wales, and other senior royals are willing to help the King bring his sons closer.
