King Charles will meet students in the Bahamas who trained with his charity and met him last year.
The King’s Foundation announced the planned reunion on Tuesday, after Charles arrived in the Bahamas. The charity shared photos of the students on Instagram and said they would meet the King on Wednesday.
In 2025, the foundation welcomed its first group of students from the Bahamas to the UK for its Building Craft and Conservation programme. The course teaches traditional building skills to help preserve historic buildings in the Bahamas.
The students met Charles at Dumfries House, the foundation’s headquarters, during their training last year.
The programme is run with the Lyford Cay Foundation. A second group of students has recently arrived at the foundation’s UK sites to take part.
King Charles and Queen Camilla are visiting the Bahamas and Guyana before heading to Antigua and Barbuda for the Commonwealth summit.
The summit takes place every two years. The Commonwealth has 56 member countries, most of which were once British colonies.
