Meghan Markle’s Netflix partnership may be over, commentator says

Meghan Markle’s partnership with Netflix may have come to an end, according to commentator Kinsey Schofield.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, the host of Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered said criticism of Netflix from Meghan’s team could suggest they no longer expect to work with the company.

Schofield said Netflix had been one of Meghan’s most important business partners. In her view, Meghan’s team would be unlikely to criticize the company publicly if they still hoped it would fund future projects.

Schofield also said Netflix had withdrawn its investment in Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever.

She pointed out that Meghan had previously credited Bajaria, described in the report as Netflix’s former chief content officer, with suggesting her lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan. At the TIME100 Summit, Meghan said Bajaria had seen the potential for a TV show in her homemade gifts.

According to Schofield, claims that Netflix used Meghan for publicity surfaced after Bajaria’s departure.

Schofield questioned whether the partnership had a future. She suggested Meghan’s team may now feel free to criticize Netflix because they believe there is no relationship left to protect.

These comments reflect Schofield’s opinion and do not confirm that the partnership has ended.
