Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly cut staff at Archewell Productions as their Hollywood business faces challenges.
According to Page Six, an unnamed source said the company reduced its staff over the past 12 to 18 months. Only a few employees reportedly now work at its Raleigh Studios offices in Los Angeles.
The report said the cuts also affected part-time workers hired for projects such as With Love, Meghan and Harry & Meghan. The Los Angeles office remains open despite the smaller team.
Harry and Meghan started Archewell Productions in 2020 after stepping back from their royal duties. The company has since produced several shows.
These include two seasons of Meghan’s lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, and the six-part documentary series Harry & Meghan.
In March, Variety reported that the company’s relationship with Netflix was facing difficulties because its projects had not been as successful as expected.
The article also claims that Harry and Meghan moved back to the UK in August while continuing to run their business in both countries. However, it does not give a source for this claim.
