Royal commentator claims Harry and Meghan’s Nottingham visit frustrated palace insiders

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has claimed that some people inside Buckingham Palace are frustrated by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charity visits in Nottingham.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Schofield cited unnamed palace sources who felt the visits looked like official royal engagements.

Harry and Meghan are no longer working members of the royal family. According to Schofield’s sources, King Charles recently reminded the government that the couple are private citizens.

Schofield argued that their charity visits, public appearances and photography create the image of royal duties without the official role.

She said working royals do more than attend events and pose for photographs. They represent the monarch, support relationships with other countries and serve national interests.

In her view, Harry and Meghan’s visits do not carry the same official importance. These comments reflect Schofield’s opinion and claims from unnamed sources, rather than a public statement from Buckingham Palace.

The couple returned to Nottingham nearly nine years after Meghan’s first official royal appearance with Harry there in 2017.

On Thursday, a crowd cheered as they arrived at the Community Recording Studio. They spent about 15 minutes greeting supporters before going inside.
