Meghan and Malala have spoken before. In October 2020, Meghan and Harry joined Malala for an online conversation to mark the International Day of the Girl. They discussed why girls’ education matters.
After that conversation, Malala said she and Meghan shared the belief that everyone benefits when girls can go to school.
Their latest meeting, shortly before the International Day of the Girl, has raised speculation about a possible project together. However, the report gives no confirmation that a project is being discussed.
