Prince Harry’s reported reaction to Swan Song has caused more tension with Prince William, according to Woman’s Day.
The magazine claims their uncle, Charles Spencer, said Harry was “completely fine” with the book. This reportedly upset William, who believes it portrays King Charles unfairly.
An unnamed palace source told the magazine that William was already angry because Harry did not seem as upset about the book as he was. Spencer’s comments reportedly made matters worse.
The source claimed William struggled to understand Harry’s response and wondered whether he had only read the sections that mentioned him.
The source also questioned Harry’s reported wish to rebuild his relationship with Charles and Camilla. They asked how he could accept a book they believed was hurting his father’s reputation, especially while Charles was facing cancer.
According to the report, William was also upset with Spencer over what he saw as a portrayal of Charles as cruel and heartless, along with a claim that he was in love with his valet.
These accounts of William’s feelings come from an unnamed source and have not been confirmed.
