Prince William believes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will eventually return to the United States, according to sources who spoke to Closer.
The sources claim William is unhappy about the couple’s reported move back to Britain. They also say Harry and Meghan have told friends they may return to America if they are not given police protection in the UK.
“William doesn’t believe they’ll even last another six months,” one source claimed.
The source added that William expects the couple to leave once they realise they cannot get everything they want.
According to the same source, William is staying out of Harry’s dispute over security because he believes his brother could use any involvement against him. He is said to be leaving the decision to the authorities.
The source also claimed William’s feelings about the couple could be summed up in five words: “They can’t leave soon enough.”
Meanwhile, royal commentator Tom Sykes wrote on his Substack that William has remained publicly silent. However, sources close to the prince describe him as upset, but not surprised, by his brother’s actions.
