The Duke of Sussex reportedly wants a place alongside his brother in conversations about King Charles’s health and the future.
Prince Harry reportedly feels like an outsider as his father and brother prepare for difficult conversations about the Royal Family’s future.
According to Heat World, King Charles’s ongoing cancer treatment has deepened Harry’s worries. His apparent struggle to arrange another meeting with his father has reportedly added to that anxiety.
An unnamed source suggested that Harry’s strained relationship with Prince William is another cause for concern.
William is “clearly still furious over everything that's happened” and “has apparently wanted Harry stripped of his title, just like Andrew was”, the insider claimed.
“Harry might well feel that William would want him cut off financially,” they added.
The source acknowledged that discussing money creates another difficulty for Harry: the risk of appearing more concerned about an inheritance than his father.
“It’s obviously a very delicate subject because Harry certainly doesn't want to be seen as someone who's counting his father's money before he's even gone,” the insider said.
However, they claimed that his exclusion has left him anxious about decisions being made without him.
“The way he’s being shut out, it’s impossible not to worry about worst-case scenarios, especially because he’s suspicious of what is being discussed behind the palace walls between Charles and William.”
The source also suggested that William’s access to their father makes the situation especially painful for Harry.
“He knows there have been some very difficult conversations about Charles’ health and the future, including the inevitable arrangements for when he passes away, and it’s painful knowing his brother has that sort of access while he’s struggling to even get time with his own father.”
Ultimately, the insider said, Harry wants to be included in those family discussions again.
“He just wants to be let in and be part of all these conversations again. After all, Charles has two sons.”
