Following an earlier statement to People, a representative has spoken again about the former couple’s relationship.
A representative has addressed Sarah Ferguson’s relationship with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as rumours of a rift continue.
The latest comments came just hours after an update about Ferguson’s return to the UK. In a statement issued two days ago, a spokesperson said: “She’s happy spending time with her family and focusing on her relocation.”
With speculation about tensions showing no sign of easing, the representative has now highlighted the former couple’s continued contact and shared family responsibilities.
“Sarah and Andrew speak regularly and have always had and continue to have unity as co-parents and co-grandparents,” they said.
Interest in Ferguson’s life back in Britain grew after the former Duchess of York attended a memorial service for her former partner, Paddy McNally.
Reports a few days ago also suggested that her main priority was “catching up” on time with her grandchildren.
The latest statement presents a different picture from earlier allegations that Andrew was “fuming” over claims that Sarah had distanced him from their daughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.
A source quoted by The Times previously claimed: “The red setter, as she's known, is not welcome at Marsh Farm. She's persona non grata as far as Andrew is concerned.”
