Palace Signals Approval as Beatrice and Eugenie Take on Quiet Royal Roles

King Charles recognises their dedication while formal upgrade remains uncertain

Princess Beatrice and her sister have quietly earned the Palace’s appreciation, despite the ongoing fallout from their father Prince Andrew’s controversies.

Though the Duke of York has been stripped of royal duties and titles, his daughters—shared with Sarah Ferguson—have remained quietly loyal to the monarchy.

According to insiders, Buckingham Palace values the sisters’ conduct and consistent support.

“They both believe in the institution and what it stands for,” a York family friend told Hello! magazine. “They’ve always been willing to help where they can and share a strong sense of duty.”

Despite having full-time careers and young families, the sisters are said to have handled their position “blamelessly,” walking the delicate line of being “half-out” royals without misstep.

“They’ve never put a foot wrong,” the source added. “They’ve found a balance between private life and public service, and that’s being recognised.”

Royal expert Ingrid Seward confirmed the King’s fondness for his nieces, noting that both have quietly taken on select responsibilities on his behalf.

While Prince William and other senior royals reportedly value their involvement, sources say there are no firm plans for a formal expansion of their roles.

For now, the Palace’s quiet endorsement signals that the sisters remain valued contributors to the Crown—steady presences during a period of transition.
