Royal expert highlights contrasting personalities ahead of Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK
Though both are prominent figures in the British royal family, Catherine and Queen Camilla are said to have very different styles when it comes to their royal duties.
Speaking to GB News, royal expert Valentine Low explained that the two women approach their roles in contrasting ways. “Kate is a completely different person from Camilla. She’s very controlled and cautious, and careful,” he said.
Camilla, meanwhile, is known for being warm and outgoing. “She says what she thinks, she’s incredibly engaging, and funny,” Low added. “That’s not to say Kate can’t be funny in private, but with Camilla it’s much more obvious.”
Their distinct personalities will be on display during the upcoming state visit to United Kingdom by former US president Donald Trump. While King Charles III and Queen Camilla will take on major ceremonial duties, the Princess of Wales is set to join Melania Trump for a solo engagement at Frogmore Gardens to showcase the Scouts’ Squirrels programme.
All eyes will be on how the two senior royals connect with their high-profile guests during the visit.
