Duke of Edinburgh’s candid words about the Windsor ceremony resurface

Former royal butler Grant Harrold recently revealed in his memoir that Prince Philip, known for his straightforward manner, had a sharp reaction once the service ended. “When Prince Philip came out, he turned to the queen and said, ‘Thank f--- that’s over,’” Harrold recalled.
According to him, this was typical of the Duke of Edinburgh, who often spoke without restraint. “He didn’t hold back, and that was part of who he was,” Harrold explained.
When approached by Fox News Digital through Archewell, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex declined to comment on the resurfaced account.
