Sarah Ferguson ‘Considering Move’ from Royal Lodge as Tensions with Andrew Deepen

The Duchess of York reportedly feels “trapped” living with the Duke amid the fallout from his connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

Sarah Ferguson is said to be weighing the idea of moving out of Royal Lodge, where she has long shared a home with her former husband, the Duke of York. Reports suggest she feels increasingly “trapped” as the shadow of Andrew’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein continues to hang over them both.

An insider told Radar Online that the Duchess is “furious” about being drawn back into Andrew’s ongoing troubles. “Sarah feels utterly trapped. She’s furious that, after everything she’s survived—cancer, heartbreak, humiliation—she’s now being pulled back into Andrew’s and the Epstein mess again,” the source claimed.

The controversy follows a string of supportive emails exchanged between the pair that recently surfaced, drawing public criticism. The former couple’s living arrangement at Royal Lodge has also come under renewed scrutiny, with reports suggesting the King wants them to vacate the estate due to the high cost of upkeep.

Despite growing frustration, Ferguson reportedly feels conflicted. “She’d love to move out of Royal Lodge, but she’s terrified of what that would mean,” the insider added. Sources say she worries about leaving behind royal life and fears loneliness as she grows older.

While there is said to be “no love” left between them, Ferguson still feels “responsible” for Andrew, even though his troubles “ruin her peace.”

Royal sources have previously confirmed that the Duke of York has a long-term lease on the property, which doesn’t expire until 2078—making any immediate move unlikely.
