King Charles III is said to view his daughter in law Catherine, Princess of Wales as a “great asset” to the royal family as she celebrates her 44th birthday.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal expert Helena Chard said the bond between the King and Catherine has grown stronger, particularly after they both faced recent health challenges.
Chard suggested that the King and Queen Camilla are expected to give a joint birthday gift, possibly something personal and meaningful rather than lavish. She added that time spent together now matters more than anything.
According to the royal expert, the King sees Catherine as a calming influence within the family and praised her for being grounded and approachable. She also described the Princess as down to earth and focused on what truly matters.
Catherine is expected to mark her birthday with a low key private family gathering filled with love and laughter. Chard said the Princess is feeling grateful after turning a corner healthwise and is approaching life with renewed balance and clarity.
The comments came shortly after the Palace shared a warm birthday message on behalf of the King and Queen, alongside a new photograph of the Princess of Wales, wishing her a happy birthday.
