King Charles May Have Big Plans for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

King Charles could be preparing to take a step toward reconciliation with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as the couple plan a visit to the UK this summer.

Meghan is expected to join Harry for an Invictus Games-related event on July 10, marking her first trip to Britain in four years. Her last visit was in 2022. According to the Daily Mail, palace insiders suggest the King may be ready to extend an olive branch amid these latest developments.

One option reportedly being considered is an invitation for Harry and Meghan to stay at Highgrove House, the King’s private residence in Gloucestershire. The property is described as highly secure and could help address the couple’s long-standing concerns about safety while visiting the UK.

A royal source noted that Highgrove’s location makes it practical, as it is a short drive down the M5 from Birmingham, where the Invictus event will take place. This would allow Harry and Meghan to attend summer engagements while staying somewhere discreet and protected.

There is also growing speculation that Prince Harry may invite his father to play a role in the 2027 Invictus Games, possibly even asking King Charles to open the event. While nothing has been confirmed, the idea has fueled talk of improving relations between the two.

At the same time, Harry’s UK security arrangements are reportedly under review once again. Insiders claim that approval for protection is now expected later this month, which could further smooth the way for the couple’s visit.

If these plans move forward, they may signal a cautious but meaningful shift in the relationship between the King and his estranged son.
