According to reports, the Duke of Sussex contacted the sisters and offered them a supportive gesture as they deal with the continuing fallout surrounding their father, Prince Andrew.
The Mail on Sunday claims Harry extended an open invitation for the York sisters to visit him in California, offering them a place away from the ongoing controversy linked to their parents.
A source alleged that Harry told the sisters he understands what it feels like to be on the “wrong end of the institution.” The insider added that the Duke made it clear the door is open for them, particularly for Beatrice, should they ever wish to take a break from the pressure in Britain.
The reported outreach is being viewed by some royal watchers as a message directed at the Prince of Wales.
William is said to have taken a firm stance regarding the York sisters’ public appearances following the renewed scrutiny surrounding Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. Reports suggest the future king decided that Beatrice and Eugenie would not attend Royal Ascot this year.
