Prince William and Catherine’s children are said to have played an important emotional role for their parents during a difficult period for the royal family following Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from the UK.
According to a report by Woman’s Day, a source claimed the family went through painful changes after the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle stepped back from royal life and later made a series of public comments and interviews.
The insider said the couple’s children have helped bring comfort during those challenging moments. They added that whenever George, Charlotte and Louis are mentioned, the mood within the family quickly brightens.
The same source also said William and Catherine’s relationship has grown stronger over time, describing them as a genuine partnership built on friendship and mutual respect. They are reportedly enjoying a new chapter in life with growing confidence and unity.
Catherine’s Cancer Battle
Catherine also faced a serious health challenge around the same time King Charles revealed his own diagnosis.
In 2024, she shared in a video message that she had undergone planned abdominal surgery. Following the procedure, cancer was discovered and she began preventative chemotherapy, which was made public in March that year.
Her first major public appearance after the announcement came in June during Trooping the Colour, where she joined other royals on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Later in September, Catherine released another video message confirming she was in remission. Since then, the Princess of Wales has gradually returned to more public engagements, with royal watchers seeing her take on a growing number of appearances once again.
