Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Visit Australia Without Archie and Lilibet

Short trip planned as insiders say the children may join future visits

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to travel to Australia soon, but their children, Archie and Lilibet, will reportedly not accompany them on this visit.

According to reports, the California-based couple are planning a trip to Australia in mid-April. Royal insiders claim the visit will be relatively brief, which is why the pair have decided to travel without their children this time.

A source close to the couple said the trip is intended to be short and focused on work commitments, making it less practical to bring the children along. However, the insider added that this could change in the future if the visit goes well.

The source suggested that future travel plans may include the family. Archie and Lilibet are said to love animals and would likely enjoy seeing Australia’s famous wildlife, including kangaroos and koalas, in their natural habitat. Because of that, insiders believe it is only a matter of time before the children experience the country themselves.

The upcoming trip is also expected to involve promotion of the couple’s projects. Meghan Markle, in particular, is likely to highlight her lifestyle brand, As Ever, during the visit.

Ahead of the trip, a public relations expert has cautioned that the Australian audience can be difficult to win over. PR specialist Renae Smith noted that Australians often have a “tall poppy” mentality, especially in major cities such as Sydney and Melbourne, where people can be sceptical of individuals who appear overly polished or self-promotional.

She explained that this mindset could present challenges for Meghan Markle, depending on how her public image is perceived. At the same time, Smith pointed out that Australian audiences have become increasingly open to American-style wellness trends, personal branding and aspirational content over the past decade.

Because of that shift, she believes there is still space for Meghan Markle’s brand to connect with the local market, even if it may require a careful approach.
