Fresh claims surrounding the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Andrew suggest the monarch continued to stand firmly by her son even as controversies surrounding his links to Jeffrey Epstein intensified worldwide.
Royal commentator Rob Shuter, writing on Substack, claimed palace insiders are preparing for potentially more damaging revelations about the lengths allegedly taken to shield Andrew from scrutiny.
According to the report, insiders believe the information currently public is “only the tip of the iceberg.”
Shuter stated that recently released government documents revealed the late Queen personally supported Andrew’s appointment to a major trade envoy position, a role that reportedly increased his access to wealthy business figures, political leaders and influential elites despite concerns about his conduct already circulating privately.
One palace source alleged that additional records, private correspondence and witness accounts could emerge in the future, potentially exposing what was described as a long-running effort to protect Andrew within royal circles.
The insider further claimed that Andrew avoided serious internal consequences because of the Queen’s unwavering support, alleging that palace officials were reluctant to challenge her over what they described as her loyalty to her son.
The source also maintained that Queen Elizabeth II continued backing Andrew even after his association with Epstein became a major international scandal.
The latest allegations surfaced shortly after reports emerged that authorities had widened investigations connected to another controversy involving Prince Andrew.
