Duchess of York reportedly keeping a low profile amid renewed criticism
Sarah Ferguson has come under renewed criticism after royal commentator Andrew Pierce described her as a “reckless spender” who has largely disappeared from the social scene.
Speaking on the Suddenly Single podcast, Pierce claimed the former wife of Prince Andrew has struggled for years with financial decisions and public controversies.
“She is a nobody, she doesn’t exist,” Pierce said while discussing Ferguson’s current public standing.
The commentator also referenced past reports regarding Ferguson’s financial troubles, claiming her debts once reached millions of pounds.
Recalling a social event attended by Ferguson, Pierce shared an anecdote about her rushing toward a waiter carrying drinks, joking that there would be no shortage of alcohol at the gathering.
He further claimed that Ferguson has stepped away from high society and is now largely absent from public social circles.
According to Pierce, the Duchess of York is “hanging her head in shame” as she keeps a lower profile following years of scrutiny surrounding both finances and royal controversies.
Ferguson has not publicly responded to the latest remarks.
