Queen Camilla Creates Lasting Memories for Seriously Ill Children

Special tea party at Clarence House brings joy to young guests and their families

Queen Camilla welcomed a group of seriously ill children and their families to a special tea party, creating a memorable day filled with fun, treats and royal hospitality.

The event was organised in partnership with Dreams and Wishes, a charity dedicated to helping seriously ill children and their families create cherished memories together.

The Royal Family's official Instagram account shared a video offering a glimpse of the heartwarming occasion, showing the young guests arriving at Clarence House for the celebration.

Before joining the Queen, the children enjoyed a journey in horse-drawn carriages from the Royal Mews. They were then treated to an afternoon of sandwiches, cakes and tea alongside Her Majesty.

The post's caption described the children as "our very special guests" and highlighted the charity's mission of supporting families facing difficult circumstances.

The fun continued with a treasure hunt organised by the Queen's Equerry, Major Ollie Plunket-Treasure. The adventure led the children to a hidden stash of chocolate coins tucked beneath the hats of the Grenadier Guards, adding an extra touch of excitement to the day.

Founded in 2011, Dreams and Wishes is run entirely by volunteers who work to make the wishes of seriously ill children come true and provide meaningful experiences for their families.

The special gathering at Clarence House reflected Queen Camilla's continued support for charities that help bring comfort, happiness and unforgettable moments to children facing serious health challenges.
