Kate Middleton is reportedly “beyond frustrated” with Prince Harry’s recent actions, amid speculation about a possible reconciliation between the Duke of Sussex and Prince William.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal expert Hilary Fordwich claimed that the Prince of Wales has little interest in repairing his relationship with his estranged brother and that the Princess of Wales is likely to support her husband’s position.
“King Charles has always been hopeful regarding a form of reconciliation, while Prince William remains resolute in opposition to any such thawing,” Fordwich said.
Addressing reports that Kate may have been encouraging William to meet Harry, the royal expert suggested such claims were unlikely.
“Given Prince William’s stance, it is highly unlikely that Princess Catherine has been pressing him for a reconciliation,” she said, adding that Kate was also affected by the revelations Harry made in his memoir, Spare.
“She, along with many, is beyond frustrated at Harry’s shenanigans, given the debacle around his stay,” Fordwich added.
Royal expert Helena Chard also weighed in on Harry’s visit, claiming the Duke had “made a song and dance” about the trip.
According to Chard, if reconciliation had been Harry’s main goal, he could have quietly travelled to the UK with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to spend time with King Charles.
She suggested that a private family reunion without leaks or media involvement could have sent a stronger message about Harry’s intentions.
“Instead, Harry remains a wild card. He’s unpredictable to the establishment,” Chard said.
Other royal commentators have also dismissed reports that Kate is pressuring William to meet Harry, suggesting she is more likely to stand by her husband as tensions within the royal family continue.
