Prince William’s strained relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly remains unresolved.
Kate Middleton is said to be focused on making the most of family life with Prince William and their three children before Prince George begins the next stage of his education.
According to royal sources who spoke to Closer, the Princess of Wales wants the family to spend as much quality time together as possible before George is expected to attend Eton College.
“Kate wants them to spend as much time together as a family as they can before George goes to Eton,” the source claimed. “She thinks it’s crucial they make the most of this time. She doesn’t want William wasting energy worrying about things he can’t change.”
The comments emerged following reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently travelled to Britain with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Although tensions between the Sussexes and the Wales family are believed to remain, palace insiders reportedly hope Kate can encourage William to move towards a more positive chapter.
“William listens to Kate,” the source said. “She’s probably the only person who can get through to him. She has managed to drill a bit of sense into him, but there’s still a lot of work to do.”
Harry and Meghan reportedly visited Britain with their children for the first time in four years and reunited with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
However, William, Kate and their children were reportedly not part of the reunion, suggesting that the ongoing family rift may still be far from resolved.
