Prince Harry Sends Sweet Message About England Through Archie During World Cup

Prince Harry has offered a touching reminder of his family’s British roots as England continues its campaign at the 2026 World Cup.

With the Three Lions preparing to face Norway in a crucial quarter-final in Miami, the Duke of Sussex has made his support for the national team clear.

Although Harry and Meghan Markle moved to the United States in 2020, his connection to England appears to remain strong.

Meghan recently gave fans a glimpse of her husband’s football loyalty while sharing a series of family photographs to mark Father’s Day.

One of the images showed Prince Archie cuddling his father while wearing an England World Cup T-shirt. According to The Mirror, the photograph was seen as a heartfelt tribute to the family’s British heritage.

Harry may be firmly behind England, but he has previously been careful not to tempt fate by using one of the team’s most famous slogans.

Former Ireland rugby captain Brian O’Driscoll recalled meeting the Duke during a garden reception in Dublin during the 2018 World Cup.

“I asked him, ‘So, is football coming home?’” O’Driscoll said.

However, Harry reportedly refused to repeat the well-known phrase.

“I think he just said he isn’t as confident as everyone else about England winning tomorrow,” O’Driscoll recalled.

“He said he won’t say it because he doesn’t want to jinx it.”

The phrase “football’s coming home” has long been used by England supporters during major international tournaments.

Now, with the national team once again preparing for a high-stakes knockout match, Harry’s support appears to be just as strong, even if he is still unwilling to risk jinxing their chances.
