Prince Harry reportedly returned to the UK with his family last week, where he held a private meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Sources now claim that Camilla supported the emotional reunion between the King and his son because she wants peace within the Royal Family. However, she is said to remain cautious about trusting the Duke of Sussex again.
“Camilla wants peace because she loves Charles,” a palace insider told Naughty But Nice. “She’s watched this family fracture in public, and if there’s a chance to heal it, she’ll stand behind her husband. But forgiveness doesn’t erase memory, and she hasn’t forgotten what Harry has said and done.”
Another source claimed the Queen remains deeply wary following years of public criticism from Harry.
“She’s convinced Harry could turn on the family again the moment things don’t go his way,” the insider said. “Her priority is protecting the King from another round of heartbreak. She won’t let Charles be blindsided twice.”
Harry reportedly travelled to England last week before being joined by his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
According to the report, the family met privately with Charles and Camilla at Highgrove House on July 10.
Palace insiders believe Camilla may be willing to forgive Harry, but rebuilding trust could take much longer.
“Neither believes one meeting wipes the slate clean,” a source said. “Trust has to be rebuilt, and they don’t think Harry is there yet.”
