Sarah Ferguson Reportedly Staying at £15 Million Swiss Chalet

Sarah Ferguson has reportedly been located after remaining out of the public eye for several months.

The Duchess of York, who was previously married to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and is the mother of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, is said to be staying at a luxury chalet in Switzerland.

According to Hello!, Ferguson has moved into a £15 million private residence in Verbier after previously staying at lodges costing nearly £2,000 per night.

The chalet, known as Les Gais Lutins, reportedly belonged to late Formula One businessman Paddy McNally, Ferguson’s former boyfriend and longtime friend.

The Sun claims that McNally offered Ferguson the use of his home after she was forced to leave her previous residence. He was reportedly among the people who continued to support her during a difficult period.

A source claimed McNally “never abandoned” Ferguson and believed she “needed a lot of looking after.” He is said to have provided her with a safe and private place to stay.

Ferguson has previously spoken warmly about McNally, who was 22 years older than her, describing him as an important father figure in her life.

“Paddy was my father figure, twenty-two years older than me,” she said. “He taught me so much about life. Whenever I wanted advice, I turned to him because he was so worldly wise. He seemed to have seen and done everything.”

The reported move to Switzerland comes after Ferguson largely withdrew from public appearances following the circulation of paparazzi photographs on social media.
