Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to Britain on Wednesday with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Balmoral Castle has shared a new update just two days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in the UK with their children.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly traveled from California on a private flight, landing in Birmingham shortly before midday on Wednesday. According to an eyewitness, there was no visible police presence as the family left the airport.
A spokesperson for the couple declined to comment on their travel arrangements, saying only: “This is not something we would comment on.”
Harry and Meghan have also reportedly been invited to Balmoral. However, there has been no confirmation that the Sussex family plans to visit the Scottish royal estate.
Two days after their arrival, Balmoral announced on Instagram that the castle is currently closed to visitors while reminding followers that its exclusive collections remain available online.
“Balmoral is currently closed to the public, but if you can’t make it along to our Main Gate Gift Shop, you can still discover our exclusive collections online,” the post read.
The estate said its online shop features unique gifts and keepsakes inspired by Balmoral’s heritage, including handmade pieces from Scottish artisans, local delicacies and carefully presented gift boxes.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly left Balmoral with their children.
Harry's return has also renewed speculation about his strained relationship with William. An insider told RadarOnline.com that the Prince of Wales does not believe his brother’s return to Britain will automatically repair their relationship.
“William’s position is that Harry choosing to live in Britain again does not suddenly repair their relationship,” the source claimed. “He isn’t prepared to appear alongside him at engagements simply to create photographs suggesting otherwise.”
