Kate Middleton is reportedly concerned about how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to Britain could affect Prince William, as tensions within the royal family continue to attract attention.
According to a report by HeatWorld, royal insiders believe Harry’s return may have caused fresh frustration for William, while Kate is said to be particularly worried about the emotional impact on her husband.
“Kate’s anxious about how deeply it’ll affect William,” a source told the outlet. “She’s encouraged him to be strong, and not necessarily to slam the door. Kate knows some sort of reconciliation would ultimately bring William a sense of peace.”
The insider also claimed that the Princess of Wales remains focused on protecting William, their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as the wider interests of the monarchy.
While Kate reportedly has no desire to start another public dispute with Meghan, the source suggested that simply forgetting everything that has happened would be unrealistic.
“The best possible outcome would be a quiet relationship with clear boundaries and no public attacks,” the insider added.
Harry and Meghan have reportedly also been told that if they genuinely hope to begin a new chapter in Britain, maintaining those boundaries could be the only way William and Kate feel comfortable enough to move forward.
The report further claims that trust remains one of Kate’s biggest concerns.
“Kate’s worried about the Sussexes’ return. So much has happened, and trust has been lost,” the source said. “How do you rebuild a relationship when you’re no longer confident that what happens privately will remain private?”
For now, any possible reconciliation between the two sides appears likely to depend on rebuilding trust and keeping family matters away from the public spotlight.
