Meghan Markle has shared a playful video on social media as reports claim she and Prince Harry are preparing to return to the United Kingdom with their two children.
The Duchess of Sussex posted the clip to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday. It featured a piece of cloth carrying the joke: “People who take care of chickens are literally chicken tenders.”
The post appeared to reference the flock Meghan and Harry have kept for years at their Montecito home. Their chicken coop is affectionately known as “Archie’s Chick Inn,” a name inspired by their son, Prince Archie.
The lighthearted update came as reports suggested the couple could move back to Britain this month, six years after stepping away from their roles as senior working royals and relocating to the United States.
A person described as close to the Sussexes claimed they would leave California for an extended stay somewhere outside London. Their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, are reportedly attending school in Britain.
However, Harry and Meghan have not publicly confirmed the reported plans.
A return to the UK would mark a significant change for the couple, whose relationship with the Royal Family and several British institutions has remained strained since their departure in 2020.
Harry has previously accused his relatives of failing to support him and has spoken openly about his difficult relationship with the British tabloid press. He has also challenged the government over the security arrangements provided to him and his family during visits to Britain.
Meghan’s latest video did not address the reports, leaving the couple’s future plans unclear.
