According to Woman’s Day, the Prince and Princess of Wales discussed how to handle the situation during a series of private meetings. An unnamed source claimed William had settled on a straightforward strategy that he believed would reflect the late Queen Elizabeth II’s preference for restraint.
The source alleged that William and Kate see little value in being drawn into a public rivalry with Harry and Meghan Markle, particularly as they prepare for their future roles as King and Queen.
Instead, the couple are reportedly focused on maintaining a diplomatic distance and avoiding commentary on any developments involving the Sussexes.
Celebrity reporter Rob Shuter has echoed a similar view, claiming that William and Kate are prepared to “play the long game” rather than engaging in public disputes or competing media narratives.
