Queen Camilla has reportedly issued a firm warning to Meghan Markle following the Duchess of Sussex’s private reunion with King Charles.
Meghan recently returned to Britain with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for a meeting with the monarch. However, reports suggest tension emerged after she shared family photographs from the trip on social media.
According to the Daily Express, Camilla had asked Meghan not to publish anything connected to the visit. The request was reportedly intended to protect the privacy of Archie and Lilibet and keep the family reunion out of the public spotlight.
A source told New Idea that Camilla believed she had made the condition clear, adding that Meghan was mistaken if she thought photographs taken at Althorp were exempt.
“Camilla’s words appear to have fallen on deaf ears,” the source claimed.
The insider warned that ignoring the request could have serious consequences for Meghan’s relationship with the Royal Family, potentially leaving the door to future reconciliation permanently closed.
The claims come amid reports that Harry and Meghan are considering making a carefully worded public apology to King Charles. Royal commentator Rob Shuter, citing several royal sources in his Substack newsletter, claimed that discussions are taking place behind the scenes as the couple attempts to rebuild trust with the monarch and the wider Royal Family.
