Royal family invites visitors to explore transformed Windsor Castle garden

Visitors to Windsor Castle can now explore the newly redesigned Venus Garden, which will remain open to the public until September 13, 2026.

The royal family shared the news on Friday, reposting an announcement from the Royal Collection Trust about the garden’s transformation, which was guided by King Charles III’s vision.

A visit to the Venus Garden is included with a standard admission ticket to Windsor Castle, according to the trust.

The garden has a long royal history. It was once used as a bowling green by King Charles I, but its new design draws inspiration from the path Venus follows as it orbits the Sun.

“The Garden was transformed according to The King’s vision, with a focus on sustainability and biodiversity,” the Royal Collection Trust said.

Visitors will also be able to learn more about the garden’s history and how it has been used by successive monarchs over the centuries.

The announcement was shared on the official Instagram accounts of both the royal family and the Royal Collection Trust.
