Royal commentator Angela Levin, a frequent critic of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has shared her opinion on why the Duke of Sussex wants police protection for his family in the UK.
The discussion began when a supporter of Harry and Meghan responded to claims that most British people oppose taxpayer-funded security for the couple.
Writing on X, the supporter argued that Harry had offered to cover the cost of police protection but was not allowed to do so. The person also said Harry wants security to protect Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Levin responded by saying Harry should pay for his family’s protection himself.
“Harry should definitely pay for his own protection,” she wrote. “He just wants the grand feeling for him and Meghan.”
Her comment appeared to suggest that Harry wants official police protection because of the status and importance connected with it. However, Levin did not provide evidence to support that claim.
Harry reportedly returned to Britain with Meghan and their children last week. Archie and Lilibet are also said to have been enrolled at a private school in the UK.
