Meghan Markle reportedly feels that the Royal Family has not welcomed her back to the UK.
According to Heat World, the Duchess of Sussex believes King Charles and those close to him have not fully accepted her return with Prince Harry and their children.
An insider said Charles traveled to Scotland when the Sussexes arrived, which did not feel like a warm welcome.
“She wasn’t expecting a tea party or anything official,” the source said. However, Meghan reportedly hoped Charles would show that he was pleased to have his son and grandchildren back in the country.
The insider added that many people, especially members of Princess Diana’s Spencer family, have sent kind messages. Despite this, Meghan still feels unwelcome among those close to the King.
According to the source, Meghan believes she and Harry will have to work hard to spend time with Charles and other members of his circle. She expected the situation to be difficult, but is still disappointed because Harry had promised that things would be different this time.
