Queen Camilla reportedly believes Kate Middleton is her best hope of improving her relationship with Prince William.
Royal insiders claim Camilla is determined to make Kate an ally. She has also reportedly shown that she supports William and Kate in their disagreements with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
According to Closer, William and Kate will need people they can fully trust when they eventually become king and queen.
A source told the publication that Camilla hopes showing kindness and support now will help her in the future.
“William and Kate are not sitting around planning against her, but Camilla can see where things are heading,” the source said.
The insider claimed Camilla expects William to make big changes when he becomes king. For that reason, she reportedly wants to build a good relationship with him before he takes the throne.
Sources say Camilla sees Kate as the best person to help her connect with William. Although it may not be easy, she is said to be determined to win Kate’s support.
This means Camilla may have to put aside her pride and be warmer and more respectful toward Kate while she still has the chance.
