Meghan Markle may find it harder than Prince Harry to settle back into life in Britain, according to royal commentator Roya Nikkhah.
The Daily Star reported Nikkhah’s comments amid claims that the couple had returned to the UK with their children, Archie and Lilibet.
Speaking on Times Radio, Nikkhah said the reasons for the reported move were still unclear. However, she believes Harry wants to spend more time with King Charles.
“I do really feel that Harry wants to spend as much time as he can with his father. His father is still receiving cancer treatment,” she said.
Nikkhah added that, as far as she knew, Harry had not seen his father since his reported return.
She also suggested that Harry may feel he can do more from Britain as he prepares for the Invictus Games in Birmingham.
Another possible reason, she said, is his wish for his children to build closer relationships with their relatives.
“I think as well he desperately wants his children to know their family a bit more, both the King and the Spencer side of the family.”
For Meghan, however, Nikkhah believes settling into life in the UK could be more difficult because of her previous experience.
“It always was quite hard for her. She didn’t love it and I think it’ll be tricky,” she said.
