Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly held private talks with Sarah Ferguson about a possible documentary on Princess Diana.
Radar Online, citing royal sources, reported that Harry wants Sarah to take part in the project. The film would mark the 30th anniversary of his mother’s death in August 1997.
A source said Harry believes Sarah could offer a personal view of Diana because she knew her and spent many years within the royal family. He also reportedly believes her appearance would bring major publicity to the film.
The source added that Sarah’s experiences inside and outside royal life could draw more attention to the project.
These claims came shortly after Sarah’s representatives denied reports that she was planning to write a tell-all book.
“She is not writing a personal memoir,” her representatives told People.
Royal commentator Hilary Fordwich also suggested that Sarah should be careful about sharing private family details if she hopes to protect her relationship with the royals.
Fordwich claimed Sarah was already unwelcome in some upper-class social circles. She warned that Sarah’s decisions could also put her daughters’ and grandchildren’s ties to the royal family at risk.
