Prince Harry’s 2027 Invictus Games could get £20 million from Amazon, reports claim

Prince Harry’s Invictus Games could receive a major funding boost from Amazon, according to reports. However, the possible deal has not been confirmed.

The claims come after Boeing reportedly decided not to sponsor the 2027 Games in Birmingham.

According to the Daily Mirror, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos could help fund the event through a sponsorship deal worth £20 million.

An unnamed source told The Sun that the deal would be welcome news for Harry and the organisers, who hope it goes ahead.

The source said Amazon wanted to get involved and already supports veterans through employment programmes. They also noted that the Games are expensive to organise.

Amazon’s reported interest has drawn attention because it competes with Netflix, which has worked with Harry and Meghan Markle.

Separately, journalist Rob Shuter claimed that Kris Jenner helped connect the couple with Bezos through her relationship with Lauren Sánchez.

According to Shuter, Jenner had the trust of both sides, and conversations with Sánchez eventually led to talks with Amazon.

Representatives for Harry and the Birmingham Invictus Games have not confirmed the reported sponsorship deal.
