Prince Harry’s closer relationship with his uncle reportedly worries Prince William

Prince William is reportedly feeling stressed after his uncle, Earl Charles Spencer, made claims about King Charles in his memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.

According to Radar Online, the book discusses Charles’s alleged behaviour after Princess Diana’s death. William is also said to be concerned about Prince Harry’s growing closeness to Spencer.

An unnamed source told the outlet that William fears Harry and their uncle could bring old family disagreements back into public view. The source said this could add pressure at a time when the royal family is already facing close public attention.

Spencer, Diana’s younger brother, reportedly claims in the book that Charles said, “We’ll forget her soon enough,” shortly after her death. He also alleges that Charles seemed unusually happy.

The memoir also covers arguments about Diana’s funeral, including whether William and Harry should walk behind their mother’s coffin. Another source claimed that Harry encouraged his uncle to write the book and that the situation has been very upsetting for William.

Princess Catherine is reportedly helping her husband manage the stress. A source said she believes staying calm and focusing on his royal duties will help him cope.

She has also reportedly encouraged William to try meditation, breathing exercises and yoga.

According to the report, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister was released in late September.
