Royal commentator Angela Levin has accused Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of defying King Charles after a friend reportedly questioned how their royal roles are described.
According to royal journalist Roya Nikkhah, friends say the couple dislike the phrase “working members of the royal family.” They reportedly consider it a “lazy” way to describe royal duty.
“They are members of the royal family and they work,” the friends said.
Nikkhah said these views were unlikely to improve relations between the couple and the royal family.
Levin, a frequent critic of Harry and Meghan, responded by accusing them of acting as though they had returned to official royal duties.
“They are defying the King,” she said. She also claimed they were trying to suggest they could now do whatever they wanted.
They are defying the King trying to pretend they have been taken back into the Royal family and can now do whatever they want. Disgusting

The report says a letter was issued last month at King Charles’s request to make clear that Harry and Meghan remain non-working royals. This means they do not carry out official duties on behalf of the King.
According to the article, Lord Chamberlain Lord Benyon issued the letter after several requests for clarification. It was also shared with Harry’s team.
A spokesperson for the couple reportedly said they were surprised they had not been told about the letter beforehand.
The article also claims Harry and Meghan recently moved back to the UK, but it does not provide evidence to support that claim.
